Hidden in the Interlakes district of the famous Cariboo Plateau, YMCA Camp Deka’s 95 acres provide campers with hundreds of lakes to paddle and trails to explore. Since 1990, campers have enjoyed Deka’s vast wilderness of breathtaking vistas, beaver dams, eagle nests, fish runs and deer paths. Activities include swimming, archery, canoeing, kayaking, arts and crafts, and rock climbing. Through a partnership between the YMCA of Greater Vancouver and the YMCA/YWCA of Kamloops, we offer young people from both communities a rewarding one, two or four-week camp experience.
