A camp whose purpose is to present and promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ, where the Word of God is taught, where campers also learn practical and recreational skills and where the total person is developed spiritually, physically mentally and socially. It is our goal to provide every camper with an experience that supports social and physical growth in a positive Christian atmosphere. The program is designed to assist campers in developing life skills and self-confidence by promoting sportsmanship, emphasizing teamwork, teaching responsibility and building self-esteem. Foothills Camp is staffed with carefully selected Christian young adults, sensitive to the needs of the individual camper. All counselors are first aid trained and certified. Foothills Camp is located on the Little Red Deer River, and provides a variety of natural settings, as well as excellent facilities. It is the perfect place to experience a variety of activities and to embark on an unforgettable journey. Memories created at Foothills Camp will ensure that this will be a summer that lasts forever! Foothills Camp is a perfect choice for first time campers, or the camper wanting a concentrated camp experience. Campers may attend one or more of the ten camp choices. Campers express their creativity in the large craft building, splash in the pool, enjoy the water sports experience, challenge themselves on the high ropes course, care for the horses, try their hand at Archery, BMX, Adventure, or Rocketry, along with enjoying campfires, outdoor games and activities. Foothills Camp maintains high standards of healthful living. Our kitchen staff prepare tasty, nutritious vegetarian meals and we do not serve caffeinated beverages. Foothills Camp is also a tobacco free, drug free, and alcohol free zone!
