To provide accessible outdoor recreation programs to youth and adults with disabilities, special needs and serious illnesses, such as cerebral palsy, autism, muscular dystrohpy, epilepsy, celiac disease, Chron's or Colitis, kidney failure, ostomies, burn survivors, and so much more. Maintaining camper to staff ratios that never exceed 3:1, we offer specialized programming including white water rafting, climbing, high ropes challenge courses, our giant swing, mountain biking, our accessible pool, out-trips, archery, leadership programs, etc. Each week is dedicated to a specific special needs population to ensure the greatest level of medical care and attention. ESCH ensures that every child, regardless of their ability, can experience the true wonder of summer camp. ESCH subsidizes the cost of every camper by 50%. Open to the public for outdoor education and leadership program bookings September - early May. Nestled in the beautiful Rocky Mountain foothills, Easter Seals Camp Horizon is located overlooking the Elbow River and Kananaskis mountain ranges, the setting is absolutely breathtaking!
