Leadership development, increase awareness of agriculture, credit unions and cooperative business. Encourage growth of self confidence and involvement in community. This program develops leadership skills, increases awareness of agriculture, credit unions and cooperative businesses. Youth grow self confidence and involvement in the community while building lasting friendships and having fun. The program runs in the summer months for one week per session for youth ages 13-19. Here are some things campers learn to do at camp: - Learn to plan recreational activities: canoeing, swimming, volleyball, hiking…the list goes on. - Create a newspaper about your week. - Create a digital CD filled with memories from your week - Organize social activities. - Set up and run a co-operative business. - Write and give a presentation on a topic of your choice.
